Wholly Follow: Inherit the Promises of God
In today's episode, I am sharing the testimony of Mark Whitacre. Mark is an American business executive who came to public attention in the early 90s for being the highest level corporate executive in U.S. History to become a FBI whistleblower. The movie The Informant played by Matt Damon was based on Mark's story at that time.
One thing God revealed to me in preparation for this episode was, "when we wholly follow God, we inherit the promises of God."
I asked Mark to share the moment he didn't wholly follow God and the result of that.
What you'll learn from this story is that God is faithful, that no matter what we've done, He will show us love, grace, favor, and mercy.
The one thing I want you to take away from this episode: when you wholly follow God, you don't need to illegally access the blessings of God because when you're a child, they are passed down to you.
Don't forfeit your inheritance for what seems to be instance reward and recognition. Come to know God, grow deeper in Him, and allow Him to show you that the blessings were yours all along.
